Hi all,

The integrations page in the ScyllaDB docs says: “If you have tested your application with ScyllaDB and want to publish the results, contact us using the community forum.” So here are ours.

LibreDB Studio is an open source (MIT), self-hosted web-based SQL IDE: GitHub - libredb/libredb-studio: One browser tab for PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis, SQLite, Couchbase, ClickHouse, Druid, DuckDB, Turso and more. An open-source SQL IDE with SSO, audit trail and AI-assisted queries MIT licensed, with nothing held back behind an enterprise wall. · GitHub
It connects to ScyllaDB through its Apache Cassandra connection type, using the DataStax Node.js driver (cassandra-driver). In the connection dialog you choose Apache Cassandra and fill in the host, port 9042, the Local Data Center and credentials if authentication is enabled.

We tested it against ScyllaDB 2026.2.4 on a single-node container, with Apache Cassandra 5.0.9 as the baseline in the same pass, and checked the CQL editor and the object browser against ScyllaDB 2025.1.14 as well:

  • The CQL editor runs statements and returns a result grid. Eighteen CQL types, including bigint, varint, decimal, duration, blob, inet, date, time, uuid, timestamp and the collection types, read back identically to the Cassandra baseline.
  • The object browser lists keyspaces and, for each keyspace, its tables, materialized views, columns and secondary indexes, read from system_schema.
  • Errors are classified the same way as on Cassandra, because LibreDB Studio reads the driver’s error code rather than the server’s message text.

Would you take an integrations page for this in the docs? We have one ready in the same format as the existing integration pages, for docs/using-scylla/integrations/, and can open the PR after signing the CLA.

Thanks.

Hi @Abdullah_Kaya

Thanks for working on this. I’m going to review your contribution soon. Would you consider adding the ScyllaDB logo inside the app? (so when people add a new database/connection, they will find “ScyllaDB” not just Cassandra) - the underlying driver can stay the same.
