@Amirhossein_EbadiAmirhossein_Ebadi**:** Hello everyone,
I am planning to install ScyllaDB 2026.1 on Debian 13 baremetal servers.
Since Debian 13 is not currently listed in the official supported OS matrix:
https://docs.scylladb.com/stable/versioning/os-support-per-version.html
I wanted to ask:
- Has ScyllaDB 2026.1 been tested internally on Debian 13?
- Are there any known compatibility, kernel, IO, networking, or performance concerns on Debian 13?
- Even if installation works, are there any production caveats or unsupported scenarios to be aware of?
I would appreciate any guidance from the team or anyone who has already tested this setup.
Thank you.

@avi**:** Debian 13 is likely to work, but we have not tested this setup.
The 6.12 kernel shipped with Debian 13 should work just fine. I don’t expect any problems.
