I have a couple of questions regarding the ScyllaDB CDC Kafka Connector (reading CDC logs and publishing to Kafka):
- Is it possible to add/customize Kafka message headers (e.g. event type, version,)?
- Does the connector support Avro serialization and Schema Registry, or is JSON the only supported output format?
@Felipe_Cardeneti_Mendes**:** You should be able to use a SMT to add custom headers. InsertHeader is one that comes to mind, though I never really tried it.
Depending on what you are after, you may also check if the header you are after isn’t already provided by Debezium and can be enabled with its relevant connector properties.
