The explicit setting of the compaction strategy within individual nemesis tests has been removed. This adjustment was made to facilitate the testing of other compaction strategies, such as ICS, which is the default in enterprise releases.
The system_auth table replication ought to be configured with the number of nodes and utilize the NetworkTopologyStrategy on production systems. We’ve adapted SCT to adhere to this guidance early in the node setup process. Consequently, the system_auth_rf configuration is no longer required and was removed from all configuration files.
Scylla has been featuring the seedless function for quite some time now. In fact, it is the standard in Scylla Cloud. We’ve made it easy to set all DB nodes as seeds, which is now the default setting.
