This short report brings to light some interesting commits to scylla-cluster-tests.git master from the last week. Commits in the 055c6340…cc4fd75c range are covered.
There were 26 non-merge commits from 11 authors in that period. Some notable commits:
Database schema retrieval now uses the CQL driver instead of cqlsh, improving reliability by avoiding shell command execution.
When provision fails, SCT will now send error events to Argus, making failure details visible in email reports and the experimental Argus event tab. Additionally, pipelines have been adjusted to collect logs even when provision fails, addressing a gap where log collection was previously skipped.
A detailed health-check optimization plan was added to /docs/plans/ aiming to address issue with slow execution and will be used for AI assisted implementation.
