We are happy to announce a new update to the [ScyllaDB Cloud](https://cloud.scylladb.com/account/login) service.

**New features and enhancements:**

- When creating a new cluster either via API/Cloud UI, the following default maintenance windows are set (you can modify those after cluster creation by navigating to **My Clusters \> Maintenance Windows** ):
  - Monday 05:00 - 08:00 (GMT)
  - Wednesday 05:00 - 08:00 (GMT)

- You can manage notification preferences on your ScyllaDB Cloud’s account by defining one or multiple email addresses. Updates related to all of your account clusters will be sent to the specified email addresses. To manage notification preferences, navigate to **My Clusters \> Notification Preferences**.
- Terraform Provider: a new parameter **node\_disk\_size** was added to the [Cluster](https://registry.terraform.io/providers/scylladb/scylladbcloud/latest/docs/resources/cluster) resource, allowing you to specify the disk size for Google Cloud clusters. To get a list of available disk size options per region, use [this](https://cloud.docs.scylladb.com/stable/api.html#tag/Deployment/operation/getCloudProviderRegion) REST API endpoint.
