We are happy to announce that database-level encryption using ScyllaDB-managed keys is now enabled by default in ScyllaDB Cloud, **at no extra cost**. This enhancement ensures that your sensitive data is protected even more robustly, providing an additional layer of security on top of the existing storage-based encryption.
