We are happy to announce a new update to the [ScyllaDB Cloud](https://cloud.scylladb.com/account/login) service.

**New features and enhancements:**

We’ve added support for the AWS i7ie instance family. This is to support intermediate workloads, offering a cost-effective midpoint between compute and storage performance.

The following regions are currently supported:

- us-east-1
- us-east-2
- us-west-2
- eu-central-1
- eu-west-2
- ap-northeast-1
