# Last week in scylladb.git master (issue #300; 2025-11-30)

This short report brings to light some interesting commits to [scylladb.git master](https://github.com/scylladb/scylladb/) from the last week. Commits in the 724dc1e582..44c605e59c range are covered.

There were 63 non-merge commits from 27 authors in that period. Some notable commits:

  

Nodes that are excluded from the cluster now [receive a notification](https://github.com/scylladb/scylladb/commit/39cec4ae45b55a69a0c7230ffaf9af801cdb21fe) about it, to improve their diagnostics.

Tablets of co-located tables are [no longer repaired](https://github.com/scylladb/scylladb/commit/ff5c7bd9605ac26ad6176df5dea64e21afb667d2) individually.

The `scylla sstable` tool now has a [dump-schema](https://github.com/scylladb/scylladb/commit/584f4e467ea0e786ae98aa8547f34787df11788a) command.

One can now limit the [maximum shares](https://github.com/scylladb/scylladb/commit/384bffb8da6809c5854d10b40a159e497a89a182) generated by the compaction controller to reduce autocompaction impact on performance.

The tablet scheduler moves the two halves of to-be-merged tablets together. It now avoids [conflicting migration plans](https://github.com/scylladb/scylladb/commit/97b7c03709975679522152497d6c08e64d620e98) when doing so.

Error handling for service level manipulations from CQL was [improved](https://github.com/scylladb/scylladb/commit/b76af2d07f7189f39ac88c9ecb20e180c7b90059).
