This short report brings to light some interesting commits to [scylla-cluster-tests.git master](https://github.com/scylladb/scylla-cluster-tests) from the last week. Commits in the a75fe17d…76c762cb range are covered.

There were 59 non-merge commits from 10 authors in that period. Some notable commits:

The Azure backend can now [provision several network interfaces per VM](https://github.com/scylladb/scylla-cluster-tests/commit/654f6445e66d1670a3b423c4e2dea07efb819757), with the NIC layout [derived from `scylla_network_config`](https://github.com/scylladb/scylla-cluster-tests/commit/8e8c878c007acda813b746e3f7ebfd8e0f054b4e). Each interface can also [carry an IPv6 address](https://github.com/scylladb/scylla-cluster-tests/commit/43763efc5492d0a49995d49d68f6f92d955708b0), reachable from outside the VNet when the test config marks it public.

A new [Azure multi-DC schema and topology changes 12h pipeline](https://github.com/scylladb/scylla-cluster-tests/commit/e9f25a05272ecccc229738ad1033784f393caae0) runs with every Scylla address on IPv6. It is the first job to exercise the Azure multi-NIC support end to end.

The `instance_provision` option accepts [a new `auto` value](https://github.com/scylladb/scylla-cluster-tests/commit/2642798f5f5bcf5a87c2c397dd99bea5ff710090), resolved at config load from the effective test duration. It picks spot at or below `spot_max_test_duration`, 12 hours by default, and on\_demand above it.

AWS spot provisioning [orders candidate zones and regions by spot placement scores](https://github.com/scylladb/scylla-cluster-tests/commit/c7d5822edfa19adc1f368ac466c05350818fd148), and GCE [ranks them through the Capacity Advisor API](https://github.com/scylladb/scylla-cluster-tests/commit/e0b09e37a18bef88b019b2e18e39554d9f4ccd96). GCE zone fallback also [extends to multi-node batches and to on-demand](https://github.com/scylladb/scylla-cluster-tests/commit/49d22c59b667a71bfa6490df1dd84eb17d763725).

The vnode-to-tablet migration longevity test gained [two rollback scenarios](https://github.com/scylladb/scylla-cluster-tests/commit/01700d62efc47e97f57596ea8bf9898d7a995db8). One rolls a single node back mid-flight and re-upgrades it before finalization, and the other rolls the whole cluster back to vnodes.

Master rolling upgrades [run weekly against minicloud](https://github.com/scylladb/scylla-cluster-tests/commit/9c2b6a10316f8c459798045661aa8678051da4e0) through a new `minicloud` build parameter on the existing jobs. The master-only twins fire every Friday, and the real-cloud alternation keeps ami-arm and azure-image.

The cql-stress image was [moved from 0.3.2 to 0.5.0](https://github.com/scylladb/scylla-cluster-tests/commit/74a4fac3211c20f2836ecb1681543c1aba69017e). The releases add leader-aware routing for strongly consistent Raft-per-tablet tables, default keyspace creation to NetworkTopologyStrategy, and add `shardAwarePortRange` and `tcpReuseAddress` to the `-mode` option.

Latte was [bumped to 0.53.0](https://github.com/scylladb/scylla-cluster-tests/commit/7f79fd07a36390e2ba8c6e37fd12fe89eaf36d3c). The release adds the `shard-aware-port-range` and `tcp-reuse-address` connection options, and fixes the `load` command running zero cycles.

See you in the next issue of last week in scylla-cluster-tests.git master!
