The Usage Graph tab in the [recently announced](https://forum.scylladb.com/t/introducing-the-new-usage-dashboard-in-scylladb-cloud/5504) Usage Dashboard answers **how much** you used.

The **Detailed Usage** tab we’ve just released answers **where it came from** - which clusters, which nodes, which network groups, on which days.

## What it is

The Detailed Usage tab consists of a table of every usage record in your account for the period you have selected - compute, network and backup in one place, rather than three charts you read in turn.

- **It follows the filter bar.** The period and clusters you pick at the top of the Usage page drive the table, the same way they drive the charts.
- **Sort and filter on any dimension** , across several fields at once - narrow to one region, one instance type, one network group, or any combination of them.
- **Export to CSV.** One click gives you every row matching your current filters, ready for Excel, Sheets, or whatever you do your cost analysis in.

## It is the same data as the API

The dashboard is built on the [Metering API](https://cloud.docs.scylladb.com/stable/api.html#tag/Metering) - the same API you can call yourself with a bearer token from a user with the ADMIN role. The charts, this table, and a `curl` against the endpoint all return the same numbers. There is nothing to reconcile between them.

So if you already pull the API into your own tooling, this tab is not a second source of truth. It is the same source, for the times you would rather not write anything.

## Usage, not charges

As before: this reports **how much you used, not what you were charged**. These figures are not your invoice, and they are produced by a different system. If you have a billing question, contact support the way you normally would.
